Mercury General (NYSE-MCY) is a leading regional and statewide independent broker and agency writer of automobile insurance. It is ranked as the fourth largest private passenger automobile insurer in California, with total assets over $4 billion. Mercury also writes automobile insurance in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia. In addition to automobile insurance, Mercury writes other lines of insurance in various states, including mechanical breakdown and homeowners insurance.
Mercury is an Agent-Based Auto and Home insurance company. Mercury wanted to develop a Direct Marketing program for all agents to participate in. They needed an experienced vendor partner to help design, execute, and administer a Direct Marketing program to support their New Business Development efforts with their Agents. Some programs were designed to generate leads and source prospective new clients. Others were developed to cross-sell existing clients with additional insurance products provided by Mercury.
Mail Manager created, implemented and managed a portal for Agents to sign-up for Mercury’s Direct Marketing programs. Mail Manager created a branded landing pages for agents to:
• Sign up for the programs
• Flexibility to select from multiple direct marketing mailing designs
• Identify the target market areas to cover for their direct marketing efforts
• Set the frequency of deployment
• Set tracking options to analyze post campaign results
Mail Manager assigned a dedicated project Manager to work directly with hundreds of agents as the sole contact to facilitate these programs.
As is the case with most every Mail Manager Inc. client, Mercury Insurance is keenly concerned about data security in regards to the personal information of their insurance customers.
We understand that data security is a high priority. And we have proprietary systems in place to fulfill on this mandatory service capability and requirement.
To date, we have a stellar record of NO security breaches nor violations for any data for any project we have involved with the services we provide to Mercury Insurance.
